'Ghost of Tsushima' is Finally Getting a PC Port

PlayStation exclusives have always been an important factor in choosing between a PC, an Xbox, and a PlayStation. While many PS exclusives are already on PC, some are yet to arrive, if they will at all. Luckily for those anticipating "Ghost of Tsushima," the game will arrive soon.

'Ghost of Tsushima' on PC

The samurai-centric game has received so much acclaim from those who have played it, saying it has one of the most stunning visuals and compelling stories. Since then, PC gamers have been waiting for it to get a PC port.

The wait will not be much longer, as the open-world adventure game is set to be released on Steam and Epic Games on May 16. The PC port is being developed by Nixxes, the Sony studio behind the PC version of "Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered."

Players will be happy to know that they will be getting the "Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut," which means that it will include the Ikki Island expansion, a "Hero of Tsushima" skin set, "Charm of Hachiman's Favor," a digital artbook, and more.

It will also include the haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support that DualSense controllers offer if played on the PS5. All PC players have to do to experience it is plug in the latest Sony controller, as reported by Engadget.

On top of that, PC players have the luxury to enhance the graphics since they have unlocked framerates and expansive graphics settings. The mouse and keyboard controls can also be customized, which is not an option for the console version.

For players who want to be fully immersed in the game with a wider screen, the PC port allows for screen formats like 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 for three monitors. The version has already been optimized to make sure that the game will run smoothly on a wider scale.

To make visuals and performance better, players can use NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, and Intel XeSS. Sony even said that "Ghost of Tsushima" will provide better lip sync for those who want to play with the Japanese dub.

'Horizon Forbidden West' PC Port

"Ghost of Tsushima" will not be the only PS-exclusive set to arrive on PC. "Horizon Forbidden West" will also be available on Steam much sooner on March 21. Another open-world adventure game, the title has been majorly praised for its visuals and gameplay.

Nixxes is also behind the PC version, so it's safe to be optimistic about how it will turn out. It is also optimized to run "on a wide variety of PC hardware," as reported by IGN, and will be on handheld gaming PCs as well.

Powerful PCs will get the best performance out of the game, with the minimum requirement of AMD Ryzen 3 1300X or Intel Core i3-8100 for the CPU, 16 GB RAM, 150 GB SSD space, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 550XT for the GPU.
