Minecraft Celebrates 15th Anniversary

Minecraft was initially released in 2009 for its Java Edition. The game was widely launched in 2011 to what everyone knows it today. For 15 years, the game managed to become one of the most popular hits in the video game landscape.

The game's original premise is to be strong enough to defeat the Ender Dragon. However, its rich gaming community contributed to the countless mods, features, and data packs that have completely enhanced Minecraft.

Mojang released a new free map to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Java Realms subscribers can get the free map for Minecraft Java Edition. The map includes the Nether Ninjas Resort, the Mundi Bunker, Novo Ard, The Party Garden, and Plagiatu's Lighthouse.
