Apple Plans Major Upgrades for Siri With Advanced AI

Several reports have shown that Apple is developing a new system that will allow Siri to perform advanced functions using AI. According to people familiar with the plan, the company will treat Siri's revamp as the core of Apple's AI push.

One of the main highlights of the upgrade is that Siri will allow users to control features within individual apps through voice commands. Apple is changing Siri's software with large language models (LLM) as the company moves toward more generative AI functions.

Previously, Apple is reportedly planning to present a more natural and accurate interaction between Siri and its users. The LLM will be used to enhance the virtual assistant's capability to answer and respond to queries.

Apple Centers AI for WWDC 2024

With only a couple of weeks before the WWDC, the expectation for Apple's aspiration with AI is one of the most-awaited events in the tech industry. Previously, it was reported that Apple is planning to debut AI features in some of its core apps.
