The U.S. Google Store announced its adjusted trade-in values for Pixel 6 and 7 Pro for customers who will buy the Pixel 8 Pro, as part of the summer sale.
The new trade-in values marked Google's biggest price cut on its flagship this cycle for the Pixel 8 Pro.
Google Store Offers Big Price Cut for Trade-Ins
Google Store is currently holding its summer sale which featured a couple of discounts on some of its flagship products. According to the official online store, Google is giving up to $500 credit for eligible Pixel devices for every Pixel 8 Pro purchase.
For instance, trading in a good condition Pixel 7 Pro will provide a discount of $500 while the Pixel 6 Pro trade-in is priced at $400. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 still offer a good discount of $330 and $250, respectively.
However, the boosted trade-in values are only applicable to Pixel 8 Pro purchases. Other variants such as the Pixel 8 and Fold do not offer the same value.
Google Store Expands Summer Discount Across Devices
A separate deal provides a 50% discount on Pixel 8a if the customer decides to buy an 8, 8 Pro, or Fold. Meanwhile, the Pixel Fold is down to $1,299 due to a $500 discount.
The Pixel 8 is currently available for only $549 after a discount of $150. Previously, Google offered an all-time low discount of $200 off the device. The Pixel Tablet is only down by $80 for its 128GB variant and is now offered for only $319.
As for the wearables, the first-gem Pixel Watch provides $100 off. The Pixel Watch 2 Wi-Fi comes with $60 off while the LTE version is down by $80.
The Google Store summer sale will conclude on June 22.
