Another trailer for the second season of "Arcane" just dropped, and it gave us a glimpse of the things we can expect from the November release. Sadly, it also brings news about the show's future, as the upcoming season will be the last.
'Arcane' Season 2 Latest Official Trailer
We are five months away from the three-year anniversary of season one and the release of season two. The show just dropped the final official trailer that already tells us how emotional and action-packed "Arcane" will be in what we discover is the final season.
In the first few seconds, we see police officers walking through the rubble of what is likely the council room at which Jinx fired her rocket launcher, Fishbones. It is accompanied by dialogue from Ambessa Medarda, Council member Mel Medarda's mother and Noxian leader.
"Your council is dead," she says, continuing with "Wrath must be met with wrath" as she donned her Noxian armor. This could mean two things: Mel Medarda perished in the attack and the Noxian warlord aims to avenge the murder of her daughter.
It can already be assumed that Caitlyn Kiramman's mother, Cassandra Kiramman, was among the casualties as the former prepares for war with the motivation of revenge. And at last, we finally see Vi in her final form as seen in League of Legends, a Piltover enforcer.
Caitlyn will be leading the charge toward the underground city of Zaun with three objectives, which are locating Jinx, dismantling Shimmer, and neutralizing any agents who are still loyal to Silco. From what the trailer shows, Silco's death brought forth a lot of loyal fighters to Zaun's side.
Based on the statue and the mural of Jinx holding a flag, they are all rallying behind her, bringing the two sisters on opposing sides, both of which have enough forces to make for an ugly war. Vi has lost hope for Jinx, which means she will not be holding back anymore.
You might've missed it since the trailer only showed a brief moment after Vi declared that her sister was gone, but the clip confirms that the second season will bring us Warwick, which is the altered form of Vander done by Singed.
In the end, we will see the battle between sisters in their prime. Jinx has been driven with frenzy by Shimmer and Vi sports her gauntlets, goggles, and enforcer uniform. Of course, we already know that both will come out of that fight alive since "Arcane" is already considered canon lore.

League of Legends has no shortage of stories to adapt into a series like "Arcane." The series barely scratched the surface since it only mentions Piltover, Zaun, and Noxus. There are 10 more to explore, all of which come with several other explorable characters.
In total, the MOBA game has 167 champions, and "Arcane" has only shown Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Ekko, Caitlyn, Jayce, Viktor, Heimerdinger, Singed, Warwick, newly added Ambessa, and who is speculated to be Ryze who saved Jayce Talis as a child.
