Samsung announced that its next Unpacked event on July 10 will center on the launch of Galaxy AI on the Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem.
The summer launch event is also expected to drop updates on the much-awaited Galaxy Ring.
Samsung Unpacked July to Introduce Galaxy AI Across Ecosystem
In a media invite, Samsung revealed that the next Unpacked event will focus on the upgraded Galaxy Z series and the introduction of Galaxy AI across the entire Galaxy ecosystem. Rumors suggest that Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will get minor upgrades.
The Z Flip 6 will possibly feature a slightly bigger battery, as customers have been complaining about the foldable's battery capacity. Meanwhile, the Z Fold 6 might come with minor design changes such as sharper edges and a bigger frame.
"On July 10, Samsung Electronics will host Galaxy Unpacked in Paris - where the iconic cultural nexus and trend epicenter becomes the perfect backdrop for the rollout of our latest cutting-edge innovations," Samsung wrote. The event will be available to stream across the company's channels.
Samsung Customers Await the Galaxy Ring Debut
Aside from the upgraded foldables, Samsung fans are waiting for the official launch of the Galaxy Ring. The device was first announced during the first Unpacked event last January and was spotted at the Mobile World Congress.
As of writing, Samsung has yet to disclose any information about its upcoming wearable. A previous report showed that the company might pair the Galaxy Ring with a monthly subscription, but nothing is confirmed yet.
The company also filed a preemptive lawsuit against Oura to prevent any legal action once the ring officially launches.
Samsung also announced that customers who will reserve new Galaxy devices can receive a $50 instant Samsung Credit and a possible discount of up to $1,500 until July 10.
