Capcom Unveils New Design for Frank West

Last month, Capcom surprised fans with the announcement of a remastered version of Dead Rising Deluxe. The first trailer revealed the new look and voice of Frank, which fans were not happy about.

Capcom probably anticipated the difference and the lukewarm reaction of fans due to these crucial changes. The studio announced that it will offer fans the chance to get the classic Frank design by preordering the game.

The preorder bonuses include Frank West 2006, Chuck Green from Dead Rising 2, and Willamette Parkview Mall Bee costumes. Background music like "Dreams of Yore," "Super Shopper," and "Happy Flight!" are also part of the preorder benefit.

Capcom Reveals Details for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

Capcom shared that the remastered version of the game will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam. The game also comes with a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition.

The studio previously released the HD version of the original Dead Rising for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One last 2016 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the game.

The story of the game follows Frank as he gets trapped in a shopping mall in Willamette, Colorado. The photojournalist must navigate his way through survival by fighting and outsmarting zombies in the mall.
