Fortnite Brings Exclusive Items from Battle Passes, Available to Purchase in Item Shop—What to Expect?

Epic Games is now making significant consideration for users who were not able to complete Battle Pass progressions, as Fortnite announced that previous exclusive items will be available to purchase soon. With its future releases, Fortnite will have the past exclusive items and cosmetics listed on its in-game Item Shop, allowing players to get their preferred pick.

This latest implementation ensures that it would not affect present or recent Battle Passes.

The latest announcement from The Fortnite Team unveiled Epic Games' plan to expand more of what its Battle Pass offers to players by bringing exclusive items back to the game via its Item Shop. For gamers who were unable to complete a season's Battle Pass or were not able to purchase the said pass, they may still get the items via purchases at a later time.

Previously, users who missed out on these Battle Pass offers would no longer see the exclusive items, cosmetics, and more unless it was brought back in Fortnite due to popular demand.

Despite this latest introduction, Epic Games claimed that Fortnite's Battle Pass would still offer the same benefits to players, including unlocking specific characters or items, as well as its progression.

Your Favorite Items, Cosmetics Will Return Soon

Epic Games claimed that the return of exclusive cosmetics and items on the Item Shop from the iconic Battle Passes would be made available at least 18 months after it was introduced. The only thing players need to do is wait for its availability in the Item Shop, and it will also include Bonus or Quest Rewards.

However, not all items are guaranteed to make a comeback and Epic will decide on the shop's selection, with the devs also making it known if an item will no longer be available beyond the Pass.

Fortnite's Battle Pass and Seasonal Content

For the longest time, it is known that Epic Games and its battle royale game, Fortnite, has gone big with its different collaborations and crossovers. It previously offered significant characters as skins with the likes of heroes and villains from the Marvel and DC Universes, as well as renowned franchises like The Pirates of the Caribbean, My Hero Academia, and more.

While there are skins, items, camo wraps for weapons, and more available on the Item Shop, some are locked behind a paywall, a.k.a. its exclusive Battle Pass. Apart from purchasing a season's Battle Pass, users would also have to spend time playing different missions and modes for progression, all to get the main character's skin or exclusive item in the game.

Over the past releases, Epic Games and Fortnite also brought back significant crossovers for sale in its Item Shop, with the iconic Stranger Things crossover previously available to purchase.

Battle Passes may be the experience one needs to get the most out of Fortnite, but users who were unable to complete them or get a pass for the season no longer have to worry as Epic promises its return to the Item Shop but at a much later time.
