Capcom finally unveiled its full Gamescom 2024 lineup, highlighting the much-awaited Monster Hunter Wilds in Germany from August 21 to August 25.
The event will be held in Cologne, Germany wherein around 1,500 exhibitors will be participating in the convention, including Capcom.
Capcom Joins Gamescom Convention in Germany
Capcom has been confirmed as an exhibitor as early as spring 2024. Much of the details available remained little up until its recent announcement.
The gaming company shared that it will include five games on its show floor. The main star of the show will be the much-awaited Monster Hunter Wilds, which will have its first-ever demo.
Capcom detailed that it will bring more than 60 playable demo stations to the event which fans could try the upcoming games before they are officially released in 2025. The company is expected to occupy at least 900 square meters on the event floor.
Capcom Teases Lineup, Events for Fans in Gamescom
The company confirmed that senior members of the Monster Hunter Wilds' game development team will be present at the showroom to give more details about the game. The discussion will be joined by series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, director Yuya Tokuda, and executive director and art director Kaname Fujioka.
Capcom also intends to showcase Street Fighter 6's Terry Bogard as the character nears its debut. Attendees will be given a chance to try out playing with the guest character.
Other games such as Ace Attorney Investigations Collections will also be featured and demoed during the event. Fans are just in time to try the game before it releases on September 6.
The Ace Attorney collection will include Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, and AA Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit.
