Samsung Galaxy Note 4 hitting Bell Canada on Oct. 24, pre-orders available now

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is ready to make its commercial debut in Canada soon, as Bell has now offered official details regarding the device's launch.

Unveiled in early September, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the company's latest flagship phablet and boasts top-notch specs and features all around. The device has already launched in China and Samsung's home country of South Korea, and will hit the U.S., the UK, and other global markets next week, on Oct. 17.

Canadian customers, meanwhile, will have to wait a bit longer for the Galaxy Note 4, as the phablet will make its commercial debut in the country on Oct. 24.

Bell Canada is taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, offering the device for $299.95 when agreeing to sign a two-year service agreement. As previously mentioned, the shipping date is listed as Friday, Oct. 24.

Interested customers who would rather not commit to a lengthy carrier contract, meanwhile, can also choose to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 off-contract from Bell, but will need to shell out the full retail price for the device, i.e. a whopping $799.95.

As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 boasts a 5.7-inch display with a stunning QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, coming at the top of the line. Under the hood, the device packs a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz and paired with a hefty 3GB of RAM for a fast and fluid performance.

Other specs include 32GB of internal storage capacity, microSD card support for additional memory of up to 128GB, a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a slew of other features, a 3.7-megapixel front shooter, and a 3,220 mAh battery. The Galaxy Note 4 also comes with a fingerprint reader, a heart rate monitor, and the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat, among the highlights.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to become available from other carriers in Canada as well, but for now interested customers can place a pre-order with Bell and have their device on Oct. 24. TELUS, Koodo, MTS, Rogers, SaskTel, Eastlink, Videotron, and WIND Mobile are expected to have similar pricing for the phablet.
