T-Mobile has officially launched a support page for the HTC One M8 for Windows, suggesting that the handset will hit its network in the coming days.
The HTC One M8 enjoyed great success ever since its launch, as it is widely considered one of the best smartphones currently available on the market. Boasting a sleek design that has received high praise, as well as top-notch specs and features all around, the smartphone has quickly grown in popularity worldwide. Building on that success, HTC launched a Windows Phone version of the smartphone, as the original HTC One M8 comes with Google's Android on board.
Called the HTC One M8 for Windows, the Windows Phone 8.1 version of the smartphone retains the much-touted design and the high-end specs of the original model, but runs Microsoft's mobile operating system instead of Android.
The HTC One M8 for Windows initially launched a while back as an exclusive to Verizon Wireless in the U.S., but the handset is now ready to widen its availability. AT&T has already announced that it will start offering the device on Friday, Nov. 7, and T-Mobile is rumored to release the device on Nov. 9.
A new support page for the HTC One M8 for Windows has now popped up on T-Mobile's website, suggesting that the smartphone is indeed set for an imminent debut.
As a reminder, the HTC One M8 for Windows is identical to its Android counterpart save for the operating system. This means that it comes with the same impressive set of specifications, sporting a 5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, Adreno 330 graphics, and 2GB of RAM.
Other specs include 32GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for additional memory of up to 128GB, a 4-megapixel UltraPixel duo rear camera with a depth sensor, a 5-megapixel front shooter, and a 2,600 mAh battery to keep things up and running.
T-Mobile has yet to announce an official launch date for the HTC One M8 for Windows on its network, but it shouldn't be too long now. We'll keep you up to date as soon as more details become available, so stay tuned.
