LG G Stylo, LG Leon LTE joining T-Mobile this spring

T-Mobile is getting ready to offer not only the latest LG G4 flagship, but also the more affordable LG G Stylo and LG Leon LTE.

While most of the attention is now focused on the newly-unveiled LG G4 flagship, those who are not looking for an expensive powerhouse may also be interested in more budget-friendly devices with mid-range specifications.

The carrier just announced that it will start offering all three devices - LG G4, LG G Stylo, and LG Leon LTE - starting this spring, but has offered no specific launch date or pricing details at this point. T-Mobile said it will provide additional details in the future, likely closer to launch.

Leaving the flagship LG G4 aside for now, let's focus on the two more affordable LG devices set to join T-Mobile's lineup this spring. The LG G Stylo made its official debut last week, arriving as a mid-range phablet with stylus support. The device features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor under the hood, paired with 1GB of RAM. Other specs include 8GB of internal storage capacity, microSD support for additional memory of up to 128GB, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter, and a 3,000 mAh battery to keep things up and running. The rubber-tipped stylus, meanwhile, should work nicely with the software features LG blended with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The LG Leon LTE, meanwhile, is a smaller smartphone that made its official debut back at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in early March. The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a modest resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage capacity, microSD support for additional memory of up to 32GB, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front shooter, and a 1,900 mAh removable battery. In other words, the LG Leon LTE comes with rather modest specifications, but it should be quite budget-friendly and it offers 4G connectivity and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, which is a plus.

Both the LG G Stylo and the LG Leon LTE will also be making their way to MetroPCS, T-Mobile further revealed. No additional information is available at this point, but we'll keep you up to date as soon as T-Mobile adds more details. In the meantime, you can learn more about the T-Mobile LG G Stylo here, and the LG Leon LTE at this link.
