Top 3 Android Smartphones Of 2016: Closer Look At The Samsung Galaxy S7, OnePlus 3 And Nexus 6P; Which Is The Best Buy?

The Android world is a large one, with many players doing their part. This year in particular, smartphone manufacturers launched very notable flagship devices. Three in particular that are proving to be forces to reckon with are the Samsung Galaxy S7, the OnePlus 3 and the Nexus 6P. Each device has its own unique traits and each offers its own benefits as well.

Android is widely used because, as 9 to 5 Google notes, the company lives by its mantra of "Be together. Not the same." Indeed, the Android platform has flawlessly been compatible with a number of units and there seems to be no stop to it soon.

1. Samsung Galaxy S7

One such handset that runs on Android is the Samsung Galaxy S7. Arguable the best Android phone in the market now, it has a 5.1 inch super AMOLED panel. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a 3600mAh battery. It has 4GB or RAM and comes with an option of either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory. Like with all other Samsung smartphones, users have another option to expand the memory through a microSD. Its rear camera is 12 megapixels, while the front camera is 5 megapixels.

2. OnePlus 3

A strong competitor of the S7 is the OnePlus 3, which comes from a still humble Chinese company. The unit itself, however, stands tall among its competitors. The unit has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and an Adreno 530 GPU. The screen is 5.5 inches with an AMOLED display and Gorilla Glass 4. Unfortunately, there is no option for expandable storage, but it does come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The OnePlus 3 charges very quickly, despite sporting a 3000mAh battery. Its rear camera is 16 megapixels and the front camera is 8 megapixels.

3. Nexus 6P

Still, there is still the Nexus 6P, which was a partnership between Google and Huawei. According to GSM Arena, the unit runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The screen is a sizeable 5.7 inches. Like the OnePlus, there is no option for expandable memory, but it does come with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB options for internal memory as well as 3GB of RAM. The rear camera of the Nexus 6P is 12.3 megapixels, while its front camera is 8 megapixels.
