4 'Dark Souls 3' Mods Every PC Gamer Should Try

"Dark Souls 3" was first launched sometime in March this year. Since then, it became a massive hit, reaching greater heights. In a short period of time, Bandai Namco's title has quickly rose as one of the fastest selling games in its history. It sold an estimate of 3 million copies is no joke -- and it is only under the scope of two months.

For PC gamers, "Dark Souls 3" has certainly become an easy favorite. And this is all thanks to help of various mods, transforming the whole gaming experience as a whole. Speaking of which, it is interesting to see which ones are worthy on the list. Check them out below!

The First Person Cam

According to WhatCulture, this "Dark Souls 3" mod is heavily inspired by the 1994 hit "Kings Field." It allows players to experience the game in a first-person POV (point of view, that is). Although it still needs some improvements, in one way or another, it still presents a new kind of fun. And of course, it is pretty much worthy of downloading.

The Incandescent Reshade

If "Dark Souls 3" players are in for some graphical tweaks, then this mod will surely be an easy pick. The Incandescent Reshade adjusts some in-game visual elements. It efficiently tweaks them in some sort of ways, allowing the said elements to meet specific graphical expectations of users. It allows more washed out visual, while heightening the colors (among others). And take note: these are all done without even over-saturating the game.

The UI Makeover

Nothing really beats the original -- and most fans will agree to that. Well, thanks to this mod, "Dark Souls 3" fans can re-live the original UI (user interface) of the franchise, as noted by VG247. One thing is for sure, this can bring some chilling nostalgia down to the bones.

The Restored Lothric Knight Armor

The Lothric Knight Armor was once among the main highlights of all "Dark Souls 3" armor sets. It is specifically useful for players with heavier builds. Nonetheless, it has its own share of flaws - one of which is being rusty.

Well, thanks to the "Dark Souls 3" Restored Lothric Knight Armor mod, it fixes things up very nicely. As the name suggests, it restores the armor back to its former glory.
