A tweet from Pokemon Go News has shown a nifty graphic about Pokemon Go's egg distance hatching group together not by just its distance requirements but by Pokemon Generations as well. This is unique from the bunch of infographics that surfaced the internet - which only groups them by distance.
As opposed to what we usually see on the internet:
To recap, Pokemon Go has an egg hatching feature which allows you to collect Pokemon eggs in Pokestops or rewards for leveling up. You will then need to move your phone, with the app always open of course, to a speed resembling a walking pace, i.e. literally walking, riding a bike slowly, being a passenger on your grandpa's car, etc. Pokemon Go then detects your movement via GPS, if you're speed becomes suspiciously fast, say riding a fast car, the counter for your 'walk' stops.
