Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will feature UFC fighter Conor McGregor. He joins several actors including Game of Thrones actor, Kit Harington.
McGregor's Role
It has been reported that McGregor has already finished a number of the scenes. It is not clear however, what part exactly McGregor will play in the upcoming COD Infinite War game, according to The Washington Post.
It is speculated that his COD: Infinite War role is possibly close to his UFC persona. McGregor had acting offers before the COD gig. Several movie personalities including XXX star Vin Diesel and Mark Wahlberg have expressed interest in having McGregor appear in their movie. This is also his first time to act outside the UFC arena.
Kit Harington is known for his Game of Thrones role of Jon Snow. In COD: Infinite Warfare, he will play the role of lead villain. He will is the leader of the Settlement Defense Front or SDF in the game's storyline.
Conor McGregor After UFC 202 Rematch
McGregor recently won his rematch with Nate Diaz last August during the UFC 202 event. On September 2, he posted in Twitter a picture of himself with friends driving a Rolls Royce with its top down.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Release and Beta Period
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is due for release on November 4, 2016. It will be available in various platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
A beta version for the PlayStation 4 will begin on October 14. The beta period will only last for three days. Xbox One owners will have to wait for their own beta release. No exact date has been set for them yet. Unfortunately, there will be no beta release for the Windows PC.
