As the release date of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 nears, more and more interesting updates are starting to surface. Just recently, fans were made known that Goku Black will no longer be a pre-order exclusive. Sure enough, it made most of them happy and stoked; however, it ha been revealed that the character won't sport a Super Saiyan Rose. Nevertheless, the transformation is expected to arrive in a form of DLC.
As previously reported here at iTech Post, Bandai Namco removed the pre-order exclusivity of Goku Black in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The move was simply made to satisfy the community, which was quite disappointed after the first installment didn't feature Vegeta's Super Saiyan 4.
Adding to its learning curve, the studio ensured that fans will be getting hold of the aforementioned Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 character. Nevertheless, it's worth noting that it'll be available following the release of the game on October 28.
In one way or another, it made the fans of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 pretty much excited. After all this time, Goku Black will be a playable character regardless of pre-ordering the game or not. The only catch, however, is that it won't feature a Super Saiyan Rose transformation. Instead, the aforesaid character will introduce its base form only.
The move to include Goku Black -- in its base form -- in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was due to a possible miscommunication between Bandai Namco and Toei Animation, as reported by Christian Today. Although it should be taken as a grain of salt, the only thing that remains true is the character not sporting the above mentioned transformation.
In related Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 news, reports suggest that the original characters -- young Goku riding his magic cloud in particular -- will not be part of the forthcoming game. Nevertheless, the company iterated that if the demand is high (which should be), they could unleash these characters as part of a DLC. This also means that the most talked about Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black will be part of it.
