Next month, fans will finally get hold of the highly anticipated fighting role-playing game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Hence Bandai is doing everything they can to keep the hype train moving. And between those lines, players can expect more characters, as the studio aims to bring the ones from the canon.
As previously reported here at iTech Post, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 fans were pleased following the confirmed inclusion of Goku Black. Bandai reportedly removed the character from being a pre-order exclusive, only that it'll arrive via DLC. And not just that, its Super Saiyan Rose transformation is also expected to be introduce.
But of course, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 fans want more than just that. They would love to see a larger character pool, allowing them to have versatility in playing the upcoming game. Well, fortunately, the studio is up for something really interesting.
According to TechnoBuffalo, the developers of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will add more characters straight from the canon. That aside from the addition of non-canonical characters, the sequel will also sport the ones from the whole Dragon Ball universe.
True enough, based on the latest Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 screenshots, the likes of Bardock (Goku's father), Future Trunks and Future Gohan and Gojita appeared. The company is also looking to grab the characters found in Dragon Ball Z film and Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, among others. It's worth noting that the aforesaid films featured the infamous villain named Janemba .
The said screenshots of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 also featured the titular Android 16 and Cell. Take note: the latter is depicted in its most imperfect form, so fans might expect a twist to that sooner or later in the game. It seems things are starting to get interesting as the game's official release date nears.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is slated to hit the shelves come October 25. It'll be made available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
