With rumors that Michael Muhney is returning on "The Young And The Restless" to reprise the role of Adam in Justin Hartley's absence, Genoa City seems to be moving just fine without him. "The Young And The Restless" teasers for next week show Phyllis recovering from concussion, Billy still wanting to be with her, Jack being visited by a ghost, and Nick and Chelsea getting closer.
In "The Young And The Restless" spoilers for the week of Sept. 26, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) decides to fix her marriage and Billy (Jason Thompson) will have to go with her decision whether he likes it or not. Paul (Doug Davidson) visits Phyllis to ask her some questions but Phyllis doesn't want to answer and tells him to leave Jack alone. Jack still thinks she might need help and leaves her the hotline for domestic abuse.
The Phyllis-Jack incident is reaching the media and a reporter is snooping around. Jack insists Phyllis was hurt by accident but other people are saying otherwise. Devon (Bryton James) will bribe the reporter to cut Jack some slack, but the reporter has other ideas and airs about the bribery attempt as well. Jack sees the footage and throws a fit.
Apparently, a ghost will visit Jack but not to haunt him. The ghost of Jack's father, John, will appear to give his son guidance in the middle of all the trouble and advise him to forgive Billy. However, forgiveness is not an easy thing.
GC Buzz will call out Devon on his bribery attempt and Devon will buy GC Buzz to control the news.
Lastly, Sharon and Faith are playing matchmaker between Nick and Chelsea amid Adam's absence. Adam died in a blast weeks ago but "The Young And The Restless" spoilers hint that he is still alive.
"The Young And The Restless airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
