Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus May Feature Snapdragon 625 Processor And 3GB Of RAM

Lenovo has come out with the Tab3 line of affordable tablets back in February. The Tab3 line are budget-friendly tablets, which also have specs that won't exactly excite those who are more tech savvy. Leaks of the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus might offer a tablet that has enough specs while still being budget friendly.

According to GSM Arena. the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus would be an upgrade of the Lenovo Tab3 8 which was announced last February and released in June. The new model will have the Snapdragon 625 as its processor. This is a change from the MediaTek processor used in the original Tab3 models.

For its storage, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is said to come in three variants, as Tech Times reports. It will have a 16 GB model, a 32 GB one, and a 64 GB variant. All iterations of the device could have storage expanded through microSD. All three variants would also have 3 GB RAM.

For its camera, it will have an 8 MP sensor at the rear while the front has a 5 MP camera. This would be an upgrade over the previous 5 MP/2 MP configuration for the Lenovo Tab3 8. For its OS, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus will run Android Marshmallow. It is not certain if it could be upgraded to Android Nougat, though there might be people who would want it to be upgradeable.

The price of the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is not known yet though the Tab3 8 came out with a $149 price tag for the LTE model. The new Lenovo tablet will likely have a price a bit higher than that, given that it has upgraded specs.

No word has been given either about its release date. The most that people can have about its release is that it will be coming soon, though that will still depend on when Lenovo would announce it.
