Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 now receives its first ever DLC pack as announced by Bandai Namco US recently. The reported expansion pack will feature two additional characters from the brand new Dragon Ball series. It was expected that fans from Dragon Ball Super will love this upcoming DLC from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, Bandai Namco US tweeted out the addition of Frost and Kyabe to the roster via DLC. For those who are unfamiliar with the new characters, Frost is from Universe 6 and has the same race as Frieza. He recently appeared from the series and showcased his skills during the tournament between Universes 6 and 7. During the tournament, he beat both Goku and Piccolo before being terribly beaten by Vegeta.
The other character included on the first expansion pack is Kyabe pronounced as Cabba. He is a Saiyan from Universe 6. Unlike the other typical Saiyans that we know, Kyabe is quite young, has a slim build and not as strong as Goku and Vegeta. It was also mentioned that he was mentored by Vegeta. Kyabe also participated in the tournament as he was selected to be part of the team Universe 6. He then battled Vegeta following Frost's defeat. Vegeta's harsh words triggered Kyabe's Super Saiyan transformation. However, due to the unparalleled strength between the two, Vegeta was declared as a clear winner.
On other news, the product code to download Black Goku is now available to all players who pre-ordered the game, as Gematsu reported. In addition to the announcement, the company released a gameplay trailer for Black Goku making his debut to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Pre-ordering the game will give you a full access to this new playable character.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be out on Oct. 25 in North America and Oct. 28 in Europe for PlayStation and Xbox One while PC version will be available via Steam on Oct. 28. In addition, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 open beta is now live on PlayStation 4.
