Red Dead Redemption 2 Confirmed? Trailer Said To Be Released on Thursday

Rockstar has been making waves these past few days with regards to the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. After all the furor it has created on social media for releasing teaser artwork, it is back with another bombshell: Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer will be released on Thursday.

Yes, Red Dead Redemption fans. You've heard it right. At least, that's what the source claims. The source, of course, is no other than ex-Tech Radar writer Hugh Langley who took to Twitter and posted his speculation.

"Am told the Red Dead 2 trailer is scheduled for Thursday, though tbh wouldn't surprise me if R* decides to fire earlier," he said on his tweet.

With this news, Red Dead Redemption fans have their hopes up after it was quashed earlier this year. It can be remembered that early this year, rumors were strong that a sequel for one of Rockstar's popular game title is up on the works. They were even hoping that the game company would make the announcement during the E3 conference. However, fans went home heartbroken because there was no mention of the game or even a hint of it.

Rumors say that Red Dead Redemption 2 had been pushed to the back seat for a while after a series of shootings have occurred in the United States around the time the expo was held.

However, with all the teasers Rockstar has been pulling off these past few days, hope for Red Dead Redemption 2 is up once again. The first of these teasers came with an artwork of a supposed change with the Rockstar logo with red background. Next was a Western-themed artwork which further confirmed that the Western series is really happening.

The interest in the game is evidence enough that Red Dead Redemption hasn't lost its popularity. In fact, when XBox One made the game backward compatible, sales in the U.K. alone shot up to 6000 times.
