Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Update: New Playable Character Introduced Via Video Trailer

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 release date is just a few days away and it brings so much hype to the fans regarding the new game offerings and improvements. As previously reported, players were able to experience the game first-hand via demo version. Currently, a recent video trailer has been released featuring a new playable character set to be added on the massive in-game roster.

According to the reports from The BitBag, the recent trailer has caused a significant increase to the fans' anticipation of the upcoming sequel. The video footage reveals Hit from Dragon Ball Super is the new playable character in the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Hit was known as the legendary assassin who first appeared during Dragon Ball Super's Universe 6 saga. Hit will now joined by previously announced Dragon Ball Characters to be played in the game.

Based on the reports from iDigital Times, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will also include new characters Frost and Kyabe via future DLC additions and Black Goku via pre-order bonus. These reported new additional characters makes their debut on Dragon Ball Super which caused fans an extreme type of excitement. Black Goku's gameplay trailer was released a week ago while the other two, Frost and Kyabe is still on the paper.

For those who are uninitiated, you will have to pre-order the game in order to acquire an access to Black Goku along with the Tao Pai Pai log to travel the overworld. On the other hand, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is reported to have a Deluxe Edition which includes the Season Pass. Additionally, the Collector's Edition will grant you a Goku statue, the Time Patroller's guide and a special steelbox and soundtrack CD. Possessing the Season Pass will receive access to the four additional DLC packs that include numerous contents such as mission, playable characters, costumes, accessories and more.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is scheduled for release this upcoming Oct. 25, 2016 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, followed by the PC version release on Oct. 27, 2016.
