The iPhone 7 has been on the market for a few weeks now, which means that rumors about it has faded and has paved the way for the iPhone 8 rumors to kick into high gear. Along with other analysts who are making their predictions about the upcoming iPhone 8 is tech expert Rober Scolbe, who is the one spearheading the most recent batch of speculations for the upcoming iPhone.
The Next iPhone could feature a transparent body
According to Scolbe, "The next iPhone will be, as I am told, is a clear piece of glass along with a next-generation OLED screen." From his initial statements, it seems like we're back to some old rumors of what seems to be a transparent iPhone. But, again, most people seem to doubt that Apple would consider this idea. As most of us would probably know, all that space behind the display is full of techy stuff like ribbons, circuit boards, connectors, speakers, and the battery. From that, the first question that comes to mind when talking about a transparent iPhone is, "How on Earth is Apple going to hide all of this?"
Statements that would explain it further
Fortunately for us, Scolbe has some new credible sources that can explain it: "We can have the battery and antenna to be hidden around the edges of the screen, which further explains how Apple will be fitting in some of the new pieces even while most of the chips that make up a phone are in a pack/strip at the bottom of the phone."
Honestly, transparent bodies don't make that much sense
While there's no doubt, whatsoever that Apple could make this happen by making the mainboard a bit denser, and would possibly integrate some of the components, everything that's inside the iPhone, which would include the battery, could potentially be crammed behind the bezel. Which would seem that having a transparent iPhone 8 really doesn't make all the much sense. All in all, we're all hyped to hear some new rumors regarding the upcoming iPhone 8, but as of now, that's all the info we can get. But we're pretty sure that more and more rumors would be piling up.
