The Fall series comes with a suitable ending on a Halloween weekend and it looks like there will be a bang. The drama series is ending and it seems Stella Gibson is in conclusion one step closer from catching her man, The Belfast Strangler.

Thanks to superb police work from Tom Anderson (Colin Morgan) they have somewhat on track Paul Peter Spector and he knows it - one look at that picture of David Alvarez and Jamie Dorian's persona realized the 'amnesia' wit might no longer work.

What Will Happen In The Finale?

Final episode of the drama-crime starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan is set to see the biggest drama yet, as per trailer clip below. Gibson and Anderson present fresh evidence, which proves to have explosive consequences. Spector's newfound friendship in the secure psychiatric facility takes some distressing turns, and Gibson pays a visit to Katie, who is contesting to cope with incarceration.

Has Our Opinion Of The Previous Two series Been Retroactively Altered?

Did Cubitt always plan for it to end like this - with Spector revealed to be scared, angry man-child lashes into at the world that had cast out and left him at the mercy of rapacious priest? While critics of the film will continue to wrangle, that Spector was glamorized in seasons one or two, this year's slow, sad reversion pushed back despite the idea that The Fall was trying to make murder sexy. In finally denying crime thriller, it had achieved a weird, haunting grace convention.

Spector's Speech About Accidental Death Of Susan Harper Was The Most Chilling Monologue You'll Hear All Year

"Her head was in a plastic bag... tied off at the neck, just a thin plastic bag... her hands were free," said Spector of the auto-sensual strangulation game that had gone grievously awry in 2002. Why would anyone wish to put a bag around their head asked the cops? "To feel in control, to feel out of control, to feel power, to feel weak, to be fearful, to be trusted."
