Taylor Swift is again up on her habit of penning break-up songs about her ex-boyfriends. Recent rumors have it that the pop superstar is now composing lyrics that will tell another story of her heartache, and this time it is not just for one but for two of her exes, namely Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston. However, fans might be surprised to get a "kinder" break-up song since she is apparently on good terms with her recent exes.
As per The Daily Mail, Swift is currently working on a new song for her sixth album and she has Harris and Hiddleston to inspire her.
While Swift and Harris' relationship went sour earlier this year, new reports say that the two have already made up and are now meeting as friends. It can be recalled that Harris slammed Swift on Twitter accusing her of making him look bad and tearing him down. This follows the revelation that Swift has co-written a song with Harris entitled his 2016 hit "This Is What You Came For." However, when the track earned a double platinum award in the U.K., the DJ's mood overturned and thanked Swift in a status saying he is blessed to have worked with ex. The two are now reportedly on good terms and same goes with Hiddleston whom Swift recently dated for only three months.
With things between Swift and her exes seem to have brighten up, it is speculated that the "Bad Blood" singer is straying away from her usual ruthless revenge songs, and will most probably wrap the song with a friendlier theme. Like Adele, Swift rose to fame with her heartfelt break-up songs that describe how hurtful it had been for her to be in a failed romance. Several of her songs even pointed out how her past flames destroyed their relationship. Not to mention her most notable revenge songs in the past, namely "Teardrops on My Guitar" which she dedicated to Andrew Hardwick and "White Horse" to Joe Jonas.
Finding out that her new break-up song will not be carrying her signature scathing lines, it is said that Swift's fans might end up more bitter than her since her revenge songs appeal so much to her followers.
