Assassin Creed: The Ezio Collection is now available on PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One console. The game contains all the single player content from the three popular Assasin's Creed Video games such as the Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations.
Assassin Creed: Ezio Collection Day One Patch
Like most games, the Ezio Collection launched with a day one patch, the details of which were outlined in a blog post from Ubisoft. For the PS4 version, the patch adds support for the PS4 Pro. As per publication, this includes "4K dynamic rendering."
The day one Patch for both PS4 and Xbox One fixes localization problems including an issue involving overlapping texts for Brotherhood. There are also other fixes specific to PS4 and Xbox One that tackles the issue concerning the title name which is not localized and is in Russian. For Sony's console, the patch notes fixed issues in the game's stability and visuals while Xbox One enhanced its gameplay, stability, visuals and system.
The Assassin Creed: Ezio Collection Best Played On PS4
In Assassin Creed II, Ezio's gang of friends battle with Vieri de Pazzi's crew. Vieri begins a fight by throwing a rock toward Ezio. The rock hits Ezio in the head and permanently marks him with a facial scar. Hence the symbol for the Assassin Creed: The Ezio Collection.
One of the first things to notice in the comparison video between PS4 and Xbox One version featured below is the sharpness and the crisp color in the PS4 version. The draw distance has also been improved allowing the gamer to see further across the city as it brings its characters running along the rooftops.
The Ezio trilogy is a fun and interesting adventure built upon the original Assassin's Creed in some innovative ways. It is a fun distraction to fill in the time while waiting for the launch of its next entry in 2017.
The Assassin Creed: Ezio Collection will be released on Nov. 18 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
