Square Enix has announced via Twitter that the first update of the upcoming Final Fantasy XV will arrive through a day one patch with details. It is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Final Fantasy XV is considered as an ambitious project. It was supposed to be a tie-in to the latter Final Fantasy XIII which was released almost a decade ago. However, the upcoming title has spanned for at least two different game directors and a complete renovation of the game's plot. As a result, it will be projected to have the best ending ever amongst all games in the Final Fantasy franchise.
According to the report from Game Rant, game creator, Hajime Tabata states that Square Enix has big DLC plans for the future game title and it looks like the development team is planning to push the title event further. Based on the official Twitter account of Final Fantasy XV, there will be a substantial day one patch arriving for the game which will include its first update as well.
Square Enix has not yet hinted anything about the coverage of the patch. However, fans will expect a big reveal tomorrow. The development team led by Tabata continues to work on adding several enhancements, extra features and upgrades despite Final Fantasy XV has already gone gold.
On the other hand, several players are speculating about the details of the day one patch. Some suggest that it would be a sizeable one and rumors are spreading on Twitter that the upcoming 1.01 update of Final Fantasy XV will be arriving with over 7 GB in size. If the assumptions are true, fans would expect massive bug fixes and numerous new features.
Final Fantasy XV will be available on Nov 29 for PS4 and Xbox One.
