Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Update: Release Date Confirmed

Bandai Namco has finally announced the release date for the DLC of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The details of the expansion pack has been reported previously which is said to consist of several character additions, new skins, quests and more. As reported, the DLC will arrive having both free and paid versions that cover various types of in-game items. This upcoming expansion pack marks as the first for the title after its official launch a couple of months ago.

According to the report from Attack of the Fanboy, the paid version will be bought individually or will arrive automatically together with the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 season pass. Both DLC will officially arrive on Dec. 20 as Bandai Namco announced. The free DLC contents include Awakened Skill for SSGSS Goku. Hit will also receive a new skill. Based on the report, 6 new costumes and 4 new attacks will be added as well. Additionally, a new event will arrive called Frieza's Seige which grants 10 new Jersey costumes if you will record a win. Lastly, the free expansion pack version will add a new Raid Quest which features Evil Yamcha with an exclusive title to achieve.

On the other hand, the paid DLC will include 2 new characters from Dragon Ball Super namely Cabbe and Frost with Cabbe in his Super Saiyan form while Frost on its Final Form. Hit will also be included on the paid version as well as 5 new attacks, 3 new parallel quests, 2 new costumes, 5 super souls and 2 emotes.

The upcoming expansion pack will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition, Bandai Namco has said previously that they will offer long-term support for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. That means, players will be expected to see more upcoming DLC for the title in the future. Meanwhile, fans are hopeful that more contents from the new Dragon Ball series called Dragon Ball Super will be added to the game soon.
