It has been a few years since American actor Paul Walker died from a single vehicle collision on Nov. 30. The cast of “The Fast and The Furious” franchise as well as his fans all over the world have mourned over his untimely passing. To this day, the actor is still remembered and is celebrated to pay tribute to the short life he had.
This year marked the third death anniversary of Paul Walker. Close friends and co-stars Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese, and Jordana Brewster have paid tribute to the departed actor. As a matter of fact, Diesel got emotional on his Instagram post when he talked about his best friend.
Aside from remembering the tragic day, Diesel took to Facebook Live to announce and encourage people to raise awareness and to donate to Walker’s charity named Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW). Walker’s brothers, Cody and Caleb also were hailed grand marshals just recently of the 64th Annual Downtown Santa Barbara Holiday Parade. Their induction was to support the said charity organization and to honor Walker.
Cody, in fact, revealed that he had grown distant with his family when his brother died. But knowing Paul Walker loved the charity ROWW aside from his daughter, Meadow, Cody decided to move to Santa Barbara. Eventually, Cody was able to settle in, repair ties with his family, and helped a lot of people through ROWW.
Paul Walker was a celebrated actor who starred in several films and various television series. He first acted in shows as early as 1984 such as “CBS Schoolbreak Special”. Though he already has quite a few titles under his name, it was not until he starred in “The Fast and The Furious” did he get famous.
Paul Walker also starred in most of the “The Fast and Furious” sequels and his last was “Furious 7” in 2015. It was said that he did not even finish filming the last movie that the production had to use computer graphic animations for the last few scenes. The sequel to “Furious 7”, which has been titled “Fast 8” is scheduled to be released in April 2017.
