Fans are excited for the game Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto. In this expanded version, Boruto, Sarada and Mistuki will be added to the list of characters. There will also be adult Naruto and Sasuke. On the contrary, there will be numerous characters which will not make it into the list.
The list of playable characters does not include Boruto's main villains such as Momoshiki and Kinshiki. According to Saiyan Island, there will also be other characters which will not be included, like Yurui, Metal Lee, Shikadai, and Konohamaru's adult version.
This can be quite confusing for some players, since the abovementioned characters can still be fought with during the story mode. This news can be quite disappointing for some since it is common for story mode characters in the base game to be considered as playable eventually. It was later explained by Bandai Namco that these characters could only be fought within the Story Mode only. It was indeed difficult to create the new character models for the game, and it is even more difficult to make them as playable characters, as reported by The Bit Bag.
These characters possess their own moves and models within the story mode after all. However, this might still change as time goes by, but for now, fans have to just realistically accept that these characters will not be playable.
It is still with great hope that the developers will be able to change their mind since it would be an advantage if there will be more kinds of fighters within the game. However, there is still a bright possibility that Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto will be a great game.
