Double Dragon IV is expected to make its way by the end of the first month of 2017. The teaser trailer for the game has also been revealed showing a nostalgic game reminiscent of the original Double Dragon game launched 30 years back. Several new elements and improved graphics have also been noted for Double Dragon IV.
Double Dragon IV Launches On Steam As Arc System Works Celebrate The Series 30th
Director Yoshihisa Kishimoto, composer Yamane IchiHisashi and the character designer Koji Ogata are slated to launch a new arcade game in time for the 30th year celebration of the Double Dragon franchise. Furthermore, it has been revealed that the new game may sport the same retro look from the first releases. Double Dragon IV is slated to make its way on Steam on Jan. 30, 2017.
In addition, Double Dragon IV is expected to come with several improvements in the new year. On that note, there will reportedly be three modes in the game: Story, 2 Player Duel and the three question marks mystery mode. While the series was released on the NES, GameBoy and Atari 7800, among others in the previous years; Double Dragon IV is expected to launch on the more modern PC and PS4 platforms.

In other news, Double Dragon IV is said to launch at approximately $8 on Steam. On another note, the developers have reportedly revealed a two-minute trailer along with a long montage of the original NES game. The gameplay has been noted coming straight from the NES classics.
The Double Dragon IV main menu is expected to add the Japanese mode as well. Moreover, the game has also received an ESRB rating of T. PEGI has also revealed the rating of 12 for the new arcade game in the Double Dragon series. The game is expected to please loads of fans as the NES Classic Edition was reportedly hard to find.
