The holiday season did not stop the 'truce' DICE was hoping for between warring factions in Bettlefield 1. Since there's no other alternative to pass the cold holidays but to get holed up inside, most just spend it playing games and one of the favorites is, of course, Battlefield 1. However, players encountered a glitch that has been making them crazy as they progress in the game.
Some players in the Battlefield 1 community on Reddit have been discussing that they have found the glitch. At first, user "tengboss" thought he was the only one experiencing that but turned out that both PS4 and Xbox players have experienced it.
The glitch in question involves the player still performing a shooting action even when he dies and gets revived by a medic. The player also added that this glitch happens even when you're not touching the mouse. Thankfully this only happens when you use assault or primary weapons. This can be easily resolved, however, by changing your weapon and going back to the primary weapon. The glitch was really minor but still a lot of players find it annoying and distracting.
Players who have joined the discussion wrote that the glitch also happens if you are using support class on PS4. As for Xbox players, no one has reported that using the support class weapons will also "activate" the glitch.
One commenter said he noticed that the glitch started surfacing after the last update, which brought a lot of impressive changes in the game, such as the Spectator mode, switching between game modes, and tweaks to different weapons. . Although the glitch was minor, players are still hoping that DICE would take a look into it and would be resolved.
Meanwhile, Battlefield 1 will soon have a DLC expansion that will feature the French army in the longest and fiercest battle during the First World War.
