The Best Way To Farm Money in Pokémon Sun and Moon
Step 1: Go To Poni Coast found in Poni Island and clear the Sightseer Double Battle (if you haven't yet already)
Step 2: Destroy all rocks in the area. Each rock has a random drop rate of the following items:
Stardust - 15% (₽ 1,500)
Starpiece - 6.6% (₽6,000)
Comet Shard - 3.3% (₽30,000)
Step 3: Exit the zone and re-enter.
Step 4: Rinse and Repeat.
The best part of this method is that, it doesn't have any limitations and so, you can spam the process to your heart's content. Moreover, clearing the entire zone from rocks doesn't take much of your time.
In average, you can get at least 100,000 - 250,000 an hour depending on your luck. This is by far, the easiest method to farm money in Pokémon Sun and Moon.
