Use These 3 Overwatch Ultimates Wisely Or Else

I've been playing Overwatch for a good 4 months or so. When I first tried it, I didn't entirely master each hero's specialties (which I think is the same with what others experienced). But of course, I must admit I somehow know how each of these work -- with their Ultimates included. While I must agree that there are special skills I love to see, there are those I hate, too. Not simply because they're not beautiful to look at, but they're just a pain to experience.

According to Kotaku, when you're unable to use your ultimate in Overwatch wisely, it's called Panic Ulting. It's either you use it for the sake of selfishness or the control point timer is ticking and you have no choice but to do so. But sometimes, within those lines, you use it due to facing death. It's like you have no other choice but to try to take an enemy or two with you (at least that's what you think). Regardless, it's what it's called. Below are some of the nicest examples.

Reinhardt's Earthshatter

Reinhardt is the kind of guy in Overwatch that can give you a good balance of attack and defense. He's there to put up a shield, preventing any incoming damage from taking serious hits on you and your teammates. The old man also has his charge and projectile enough to take an opponent in a matter of seconds. But the most interesting one is his ultimate, the Earthshatter. I must agree, this one is quite annoying (if I'm one being victimized).

Nonetheless, there are circumstances wherein you're on a corner being attacked and you're nothing less than 20 points on health. As much as you wouldn't want to, out of nowhere, as soon as you see you're ultimate being available, you tend to use it. What's the wrong part here? You used it on a single hero. Sadly, it's a waste of what's supposed to be a beneficial skill for a team kill.

Mei's Blizzard

Like Earthshatter, Mei's Blizzard is a great ultimate in Overwatch for team kills -- if and only if your teammates are there to help you. Most of the time, losing a control point is due to you or a member of your team alone on defending it. When you're using Mei, admit that you've foolishly used your ultimate hoping that it'll change the tide of war. Remember: While it freezes the enemies within the AOE, it doesn't entirely kill them (unless they're very low on health). The hero's ultimate is best partnered with heavy powered ults such as Genji's Dragon Blade or Hanzo's Twin Dragon.

Ana's Nano Boost

This is actually an interesting subject to tackle in Overwatch. First, I'd like to ask Ana mains why on Earth would you Nano Boost a hero that's not only low in life and no ultimate to use. Sure, it may restore the character's health in seconds partnered with speed boost. However, it really falls sure when there's no good ultimate to partner it up. For the second part, just because you're Nano Boosted doesn't necessarily mean that you have to enter the pit and try to whip your enemies. Because seriously, 85 percent of the time, you'll die. Nano Boost is the kind of skill that requires good judgment from the player using Ana and the player getting the buff.

What are your thoughts on the aforementioned Overwatch panic ults? Any other hero's ultimate(s) that you can add to the list? Share us what you're thinking at the comment section below!
