We’re Finally Saying Hello To Ford Bronco Again

Ford broke many hearts when it discontinued the Bronco over 20 years ago. Now, it seems that Ford is picking up the broken pieces and putting it back together. Apparently, we will finally be able to say hello to the Bronco again as the American automaker announces its plans of reviving the iconic off-roader. On top of that, it looks like Ford also has another surprise up its sleeves.

The Revival Of The Ford Bronco

After 21 years of being out of the action, the Ford Bronco is finally making a comeback. Yesterday, Ford announced its plan of reviving the Ford Bronco at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show according to report from Fox News. Aside from the growing market in the SUV segment, it looks like Ford is not just reviving the Bronco for the new generation but also for the sake of those that never lost hope that the iconic off-roader will someday return. "There is so much love out there for the Bronco. If you look at that rugged SUV segment, over the last five years it's like the second-fastest-growing segment within SUVs," said Mark Fields, Ford CEO in a report.

Ford Bronco Will Not Be Alone

From the looks of it, Ford really did have another surprise up its sleeves. Apparently, the Ford Bronco is not the only one that will be making a comeback as the Ranger will also return and it's coming ahead of the Bronco. Unlike the Ford Bronco however, the Ranger was never discontinued as it remained available in other foreign markets as reported by U.S.A Today. The Ford Ranger's return however, may pose a problem for Ford as it may affect the sales of its best-seller in the pickup truck segment, the Ford F-150. Of course, the decision to return the Ranger to the U.S market is made by the automaker and that means they probably have something in mind for it.

Ford Bronco: The Most Awaited Return

While the return of the Ford Bronco is a very good news, the time of its return may disappoint some people. Reports state that the Ford Ranger will arrive in 2019 while the Bronco will follow in 2020. Unfortunately, the sad news does not end here. Despite having announced that the Ford Bronco is returning, the automaker did not mention any details regarding the specs or price of the future Bronco. The only thing Ford said is that a serious off-road capability will come along with the Ford Bronco. For now, all we can do is hold on to the automaker's promise of the Bronco's return and hope that it will be even better than the Bronco we used to know.
