For fans who are waiting for the release of Halo Wars 2, Microsoft's recent announcement will be welcome news. The software giant has confirmed that it will be launched on PC platforms and the Xbox One. And for PC gamers, the company has issued the video game's minimum and recommended system requirements.
These Are The Minimum System Requirements Of Halo Wars 2
The retail version of Halo Wars 2 for PC will come in Standard and Ultimate editions both published by THQ Nordic. Launch date of the video game is set on Feb. 21, 2017. Based on the minimum requirements set by Microsoft, the video game will require Windows 10 64-bit operating system.
The PC unit must have at least an AMD FX-4350 or an Intel Core i5-2500 or better. It should have at least 6 GB of RAM. Gamers also need to equip their PCs with a GPU such as the AMD Radeon HD 7750, or the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or an Intel HD 520 or better and at least 2GB of VRAM.
Microsoft Has Recommended This System Configuration
Microsoft also stated its recommended requirements for PCs that will run Halo Wars 2. The operating system of the PC should be Windows 10 64-bit, DirectX 12 and with an 8GB RAM. Preferably, the processor of the PC unit is either AMD Radeon RX 480 or NVIDIA GeForce 1060 GTX.
The blitz beta test of Halo Wars 2 has already gone live since Jan. 20, 2017. This beta version will give the fans a feel of what the game offers. It comes with the first chapter of the video game and is designed to excite the fans and hype the game. The beta version will only be playable up to Jan. 30, 2017.
