Rumors of the Nokia Lumia 928 have been flying thick and fast in the smartphone industry and now parts of the smartphone with Verizon branding have leaked online.
The Lumia 928 is expected to debut in London during a media event and various rumors indicate that the handset will be offered in the U.S. by Verizon in white, black, red and cyan.
The Lumia 928 has not been officially revealed by the Finnish company but previously, accessories of the phone appeared on Amazon. Now ETrade Supply has listed an LCD Screen and Digitizer Assembly for the Nokia Lumia 928 on its website. The LCD Screen also has a Verizon logo in the upper right hand portion of the screen. The LCD Screen and Digitizer Assembly for the Nokia Lumia 928 is also available in black and white with a price tag of $219.52.
The Nokia Lumia 928 will succeed the Lumia 920 and the upcoming smartphone is expected to have an aluminum body. Stephen Elop, CEO of Nokia, said in an interview that the Finnish company has a portfolio of beautiful smartphones in the pipeline.
"You'll see so much more ahead so we're very excited about what you will see in those products, there's certain things that make Nokia products stand out. Beautiful design is one example. Great photography is another, so you're going to see those things exaggerated and taken to higher and higher levels as we go further," said Elop.
The Nokia Lumia 928 is supposed to feature an aluminum body, Xenon and LED flash to improve taking better photos using flash. The handset is expected to make its appearance on May 15.
We don't know if Nokia is planning to launch a device called Lumia 928, when it will launch or what it will look like. As such, we will have to take these reports with a picnch of salt until Nokia officially confirms the handset.
