Decorations May Not Be Coming To Kingdom Hearts III

A lot of hype is building around Kingdom Hearts III after the release of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and some fans are wondering how much material will pass over from 2.8 to KH III. Game director, Tetsuya Nomura, gives an update on the game, and he says that decorations may not be available when it comes to Kingdom Hearts III.

'I'm Still Not Sure'

When asked if the decorations option will be available in Kingdom Hearts III, Nomura replied "I'm still not sure... Since [KH0.2] is a short episode, the plan was to add them in to give some sort of additional content for replay value." "As for [KH III], there are already plenty of other factors implemented for that sort of replay value, so it all depends on the state of development as time goes on," he further added.

The good news is, fans could still expect the decorations feature to be present in Kingdom Hearts III, but as of the moment, the developers seem to be busy working on more important elements for the game. Only time will tell if the option will be available in the final game.

Kingdom Hearts III Delayed

As of the moment, Nomura has also told fans to expect a delay on Kingdom Hearts III and the Final Fantasy VII remake, saying that the developers will be taking their time to make sure that the game is up to their standards. Longtime fans of Square Enix have understood that the company tends to make the mistake of announcing their games too early, leading to later release dates than what was initially announced. With their reputation, however, Square Enix is sure to deliver something big when it comes to Kingdom Hearts III.

Though no release date for KH III has been confirmed, fans can check out the prequel, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, which is available for purchase now.
