HTC launched its flagship smartphone, HTC One, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event and announced the handset in two colors: Glacier Silver and Stealth Black. However, U.S. carriers have just released the Glacier Silver version of the handset till now but it seems that AT&T and Sprint will both release the Stealth Black version of the HTC One soon.
AT&T's website now shows a picture of the HTC One dressed in Stealth Black. The model displayed is the 64GB version of the HTC One, which is exclusive only to AT&T. The carrier does not indicate a launch date of the device but the handset has a price tag of $299.99 on a two-year contract. AT&T is selling the 32GB version of the handset only in Glacier Silver for $199.99. The carrier does not hint if the 32GB version of the handset will be available in black as well.
Sprint's website also shows the Black HTC One as 'coming soon' in bold. The Stealth Black 32GB version of the handset is also priced at $199.99, which is the same as the Glacier Silver version of the phone.
T-Mobile HTC One does not launch until April 24 and the carrier's website just indicates the handset in silver. We will have to wait and see if the carrier launches the black variant of the handset too.
The latest HTC One features a 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 capacitive touchscreen display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. A powerful quad core Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz powers the smartphones. The HTC One also touts a 2-UltraPixel (which is equivalent to 4-megapixel) rear-facing camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.
The HTC One also has 2GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage without the option to expand the memory using a microSD card.
