'Shadowhunters' Season 2, Episode 8 Spoilers: Alec, Jace In Danger; Simon Confesses To Clary

A lot of drama is coming up in "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 8. Alec decides to introduce Magnus to his family in Max's Rune Ceremony, however, things will get out of control. Meanwhile, Simon will finally confess his love to Clary.

Alec will be in charge of arranging Max's Rune Ceremony. "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 8 synopsis via Spoiler TV revealed Alec will use this as an opportunity to introduce his lover to his family. There are bound to be some disagreements here. Not only because of their sexual orientation, the issue about being a mortal and immortal couple might be raised by Alec's family. Nonetheless, the teaser showed some sweet Malec moments including a passionate kiss.

However, that would not be the most shocking events in Max's big event. The synopsis further revealed that there will be a tension among the Shadowhunters during the event and they will need to face their fears. The promo for "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 8 promo showed random clips where the characters looked like they are under some hallucination or spell.

It seems like something is serious will go wrong in the Rune Ceremony. There are speculations that Alec might be in danger. The promo showed Alec standing at the edge of a high structure like he is about to jump. Maryse will attack Jace. "If I had known you were a demon, I would have done this years ago," she said on the episode 8 teaser video before throwing a knife at Jace.

Simon is making a big move and will finally confess his feelings for Clary. In episode 7, he got an advice from Maia about confessing his feelings. "We've been friends for a long time," Simon tells Clary in the promo "And the last thing I ever want to do is screw that up." Meanwhile, Isabelle will find a new friend.

"Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 8 titled "Love is a Devil" will air on Monday, Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform.
