One of the most difficult For Honor character to master is the Valkyrie. Fortunately, an expert is willing share his insight on the game's deadliest female fighter.
Valkyrie Is A Hard Character
For Honor players consider the Valkyrie as one of the toughest characters to master. In fairness, the game's combat system is quite unique compared to many fighting games available out there. Some players though have managed to control the character with ease that they are willing to share their expertise. Those who have yet to try this game can familiarize themselves with its mechanics and gameplay using this guide.
She Has The Dizzying Effect
The Valkyrie can use the Thrust and Slash combo to make the enemy dizzy. The last strike of the combo though should come from the side in order to achieve this effect. Once the enemy is dazed, players can now follow it up with more damaging hits. Another dizzying method involves the use of Harrier's Fury which consists of heavy attack followed by two light attacks. Just make sure to land the final blow in order to make the opponent dizzy for more attacks.
Hunter's Rush & Pouncing Thrust Attacks
The Hunter's Rush is executed by rushing towards the opponent and immediately deliver a heavy attack. This attack though can get countered by a parry. Meanwhile, the Pouncing Thrust consists of a dodge forward and light attack. This second attack is a better option than the Hunter's Rush. The Pouncing Thrust is a more covert attack which makes it harder to counter. The Valkyrie though will have to lock on to the enemy first.
Shield Crush and Tackle
The Valkyrie can execute the Shield Crush by performing a heavy attack and guard break. She can follow it up with a Shield Tackle by dodging backward and then guard break. Blocking the enemy using the Shield Tackle can allow the Valkyrie to use shoulder barge to dislodge the enemy's defense stance. Once that happens, the opponent is open for a more damaging attack.
