The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Gets More Suggestive Themes After Its Initial Sexual Content Rating

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild might be the most mature game in the series yet as a new suggestive rating was revealed. On the other hand, the game will feature a drink that is meant for adults only.

Alcohol in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Polygon reports that the upcoming Zelda game gets yet another suggestive rating that is the first for the series which is the "Use of Alcohol." This comes after its sexual content rating in Japan that had fans guessing at possible mature scenes. However, it seems like Nintendo will not go too extreme when it comes to the said ratings.

The use of alcohol supposedly comes from a non-playable character (NPC) who acts drunk and hiccups. While it is unsure if Link or anyone else tries the drink, the shop owner claims that the beverage is something strictly for adults only. With this in mind, it seems very unlikely that players will be able to join the NPC during happy hour.

Fairies Return With Their Curvaceous Figures

On the other hand, the other suggestive themes reflect the fairies as the game supposedly exaggerates their chests and cleavage, as per Digital Trends. Moreover, the fairies also share some mild conversations with Link regarding his physical appearance. Despite this, there does not seem to be anything too explicit surrounding the mythical beings.

Moreover, it is worth noting that this is still not the highest age rating for the series as it is still E10+. On the other hand, Twilight Princess and its remaster were both labeled "T." Even so, these ratings only show that the ESRB is as strict as ever when it comes to their ratings.

Because of this, children can still enjoy the game while the more mature audience will not feel too left out. The upcoming installment changes a lot of the series' formula to bring something ultimately new to the franchise. Fans can play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Mar. 3.
