NBA Trade Rumors: Rockets, Clippers Targeting Wilson Chandler; Spurs Wants McLemore

All-Star Weekend is finally over. Which means that the 30 teams from the NBA have at least one week to make some moves in order to bolster their roster. The Western Conference looks more promising right now as the Eastern Conference haven’t really made any changes.

Demarcus Cousins Traded To Pelicans

Just hours after the NBA All-Star Game, Demarcus Cousins was interviewed on how it felt to be participating again in the yearly festivity. However, during the interview, his manager whispered something to him which changed the mood of Boogie. Apparently, he got traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. Exactly 4 days ago, Demarcus Cousins stated that he is not going anywhere which was acknowledged by General Manager Vlade Divac. But that didn’t happen as Divac and Cousins’ agent agreed with the blockbuster trade.

Rockets And Clippers Looks To Add Wilson Chandler

The Rockets and Clippers are slowly sliding away in the Western Conference standing. Both teams are losing their momentum due to a variety of reasons. First for the Houston Rockets, ever since they’ve acquired Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon, it seems that they will be the team who will beat Golden State Warriors. However, due to some day-to-day status and injuries, especially to Clint Capela, the rotation of their team was slightly derailed. It is now reported that they are hunting for a steady veteran and Wilson Chandler is their top choice.

As for the Los Angeles Clippers, on paper, they look menacing and a contender regardless of the conference. But then again, injuries has struck to the Clippers. Their floor general and soon to be a Hall of Famer, Chris Paul had thumb surgery while Blake Griffin just returned from arthroscopic knee surgery. Clippers is looking for a versatile two-guard that can impose his presence on offense and defense. Wilson Chandler is their priority right now as he showed everybody his consistency night in and night out. As mentioned, Rockets is also looking to add him to the roster and right now, everything depends on Chandler’s decision.

Spurs Wants McLemore?

The San Antonio Spurs has a reputation of making some seamless moves and they are again proving it this trade deadline. According to some reports from their camp, the Spurs are looking for another shooting guard who is coachable and willing to play with the system. Ben McLemore is one of the names mentioned and by checking his profile, Coach Popovich might pick him over the others.
