Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Why It Might Be Coming Sooner Than You Think (Video)

With the Samsung Galaxy Note 2's first birthday still a few months away, we're already all hot on the case about the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that may be one of the most (if not the most) anticipated new products coming to the scene. Along with exactly what the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will look like, which features it will rock or how much it will cost once it's out, the big question on everyone's mind (not surprisingly) is When will the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 actually come out?

Up until now, everyone has assumed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would be unveiled at IFA Berlin in September of this year. This release date speculation for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 stems from the simple fact that the Note 3's predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, was similarly unveiled at last year's IFA show.

But according to Expert Reviews, it might make sense for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to be coming out sooner than September.

Expert Reviews employs the notion that - as many of us have heard - the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to come out with a flexible/unbreakable display.

Aside from how exciting a development it is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might be coming with a flexible/unbreakable screen, we may also be able to gain a hidden hint here about the forthcoming phablet's (more) imminent release date.

Pointing to an article in The Sun that was published as early as last November, Expert Reviews suggests that because Samsung sources had revealed that the phones coming out with flexible screens would be released in the "first half of 2013" (as in well before September), we may be seeing the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as early as some time before June.

Further speculation that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might (at least need to) be coming out sooner than September comes from the rivalry that has been gaining wind between the forthcoming phablet and the LG Optimus G2 when it comes to which device will be the first to come with a flexible screen.

Because it sounds as though LG expects to come out with its Optimus G2 in Q3 2013 (some time between July and the end of September), this does imply that if Samsung truly wants the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to be the first phone with a flexible screen, it will have to speed up the unveiling and release to - again - no later than June.

What do you think? Will Samsung be coming out with the Galaxy Note 3 before IFA/September? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
