Fans of Dark Souls 3 should be pleased with the upcoming update to the game. Those players who are still participating with the game's PvP arena mode that was previously introduced in Ashes of Ariandel, will receive two new arenas this coming March 24. As reported, this upcoming content will be available to those who own either the Ashes of Ariandel DLC, the game's Season Pass or even the upcoming The Ringed City DLC.
According to VG247, the two new upcoming arena maps are the Dragon Ruins and Grand Roof. Following the announcement, Bandai Namco released a trailer of each maps that provided that players a first look at the upcoming Dark Souls 3 content.
As seen in the video trailer, Dragon Ruins draws from the main game's Archdragon Peak. On the other hand, the Grand Roof appears to be awfully familiar if players previously made the walk to the top of Lothric Castle.
Additionally, a fan-requested feature is also expected to arrive. The mode is called the Undead Match, which will be released on March 28 along with the second expansion pack called The Ring City. The upcoming Undead Match allows players to team up with their friends.
Meanwhile, GamingBolt reported that The Ringed City will feature several new PvE content to the game, which includes new armor, weapons, arenas and bosses. As reported, it would be the last paid DLC for the game as of the moment at least.
For those who are uninitiated, Dark Souls 3's The Ringed City DLC focuses on the player taking a tour to the city of Londor. It is the home of the Sable Church and home of several in-game characters such as Yuria, a member of the Church and Yoel. Meanwhile, Sister Friede, Ashes of Ariandel's main protagonist is also from Londor and related to Yuria.
Dark Souls 3 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
