Horizon Zero Dawn Comes With An Extra Surprise After Earning The Platinum Trophy

Horizon Zero Dawn gives players another incentive to fully complete the game aside from earning the shiny platinum trophy. On the other hand, the game's studio is already teasing a possible expansion in the near future.

Sony's latest IP has gained a lot of attention over the past few weeks for its vast open world, extensive combat system and innovative narrative. Couple those factors together with amazing graphics and it is no wonder why both fans and critics alike have been giving the game positive feedback. The game also provides an ample amount of challenge through its many side quests apart from the main plot.

Horizon Zero Dawn Rewards Player After Completing The Game

Just like with every other game, fans will receive their hard-earned platinum trophy after successfully completing the game. Trophies in itself are just that, something players can show off to their friends as bragging rights. However, Horizon goes one step further and actually rewards players with a PlayStation theme featuring a combat-ready Aloy with the vast and beautiful skies behind her.

For those who want the theme, they must first get the platinum trophy and enable notification emails from Sony. Take note that this is the only way that players can claim the reward so it is a very vital step. Although, Sony's email system can be buggy at times so other players might not get their themes on the spot.

More Things To Explore Soon

Those who have already managed to get both the theme and the trophy might be ready to finally shelf the game. Luckily, Guerrilla Games managing director Hermen Hulst has recently revealed that the main installment is only the beginning of Aloy's story, as the team is already hard at work making an expansion, as per GameRadar. In spite of this, he has yet to share any further details about the upcoming content.

It is a rough journey to getting the platinum trophy for the game but Sony gives credit where credit is due. Nevertheless, fans who are struggling can turn to guides and tips to help ease the burden of the various quests in the game. Horizon Zero Dawn is now available for the PS4.
