Ubisoft's latest hack and slash game For Honor received a huge backlash from their players. It is believed that the game developers' lack of communication to their player base resulted to a complete boycott. However, it seems like Ubisoft quickly responded to these issues by offering some tweaks to please their players.
According to Game Rant, the changes were posted on Ubisoft's blog which highlights the increase of all Steel income from matches. It has now been increased by 25 percent. Additionally, the company also increased the Steel revenue from Daily Orders to 33 percent, while Side Orders grant players a supplementary 50 percent extra Steel. Ubisoft also added that the Steel generation in the game from all Community Orders would increase from 500-1000 to 2000.
Through these recent changes, it is expected to raise the daily income of For Honor players by a maximum of 45 percent in the first two hours. The report said that the slow rate regarding the Steel currency that the players gain is a massive headache to the game's community since it encourages the great use of microtransactions.
Aside from the reported changes, the new Elite Outfits are now available in the store after it was delayed previously. The developer said that the delay on the release was done to make sure that more players would have the chance to unlock the outfits before the arrival of future contents.
Ubisoft also plans to make some fixes to the game soon. Notably, For Honor's unbalanced gear stats. It was observed that most boosts from gears appear to be too strong causing a very biased matchmaking. The company said that they would announce the details of the upcoming patch next week. However, both gear balancing and one-sided matchmaking issues will be planned in this update. Lastly, the developers offer their fans a token of apology through a three-day Champion Status.
For Honor is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
