For Honor Update: File Size And Server Opening Schedule Revealed

There are only several hours remaining before fans witness the official release of Ubisoft's action game For Honor. Prior to the game's release, the company reveals the exact time of the server's opening and the file size of the game for each slated platforms once it is downloaded.

According to the report from Game Rant, it looks like For Honor is considered as one of the most anticipated game releases this winter. The game is known particularly in terms of innovation and giving gamers a chance on the sword-and-shield multiplayer experience rather than some typical PvP model based that circles around firearms.

While multiplayer games such as Titanfall 2 and Destiny are still popular among experts, For Honor has a real advantage in bringing out a unique niche for its whole new history-infused, faction-based combat. Apparently, that fact has been seen by players who have gathered to get the game's closed beta in order to know whether or not the new entry from Ubisoft is a serious competitor.

On the other hand, Ubisoft finally released the most important information regarding For Honor's release, which gave light to gamers regarding when the multiplayer servers will go live and how big the downloaded game will be. For those who are interested in going directly to a PVP combat at For Honor's launch, the report mentioned that physical copies of the game will open their servers officially at 3 pm Eastern Time today.

However, the retail copies won't be available until tomorrow. The digital downloads of the game which will be obtainable at midnight will gain access to the servers at the same time, as it was reported that each server from every region will go live at midnight in local time.

Furthermore, Ubisoft revealed players can now pre-load For Honor as early as now and as for the file size, it runs somewhere around 31.45 to 37.2 GB depending on the platform. The file size is quite relatively small compared to other big releases in the past months. As a result, players should not be troubled squeezing the newest multiplayer game title from Ubisoft. For Honor is scheduled for release today on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
