'The Curse Of Oak Island' Season 5: Could Craig Tester's Son's Demise Fulfill The Curse Of The Island? Lagina Brothers Have New Strategy

A personality linked to History's "The Curse of Oak Island" has died recently. Producer and star of the show, Craig Tester, is currently grieving over his son Drake's death. While most fans are sympathizing with Tester's loss, some could not help but wonder whether Drake's demise will fulfill the curse of the Oak Island that will finally resurface the 200-year-old treasure that the Lagina brothers are looking for.

Craig Tester's son, Drake, reportedly died on March 26 but the family has not yet revealed the real reason behind the departure. Some fans expressed their desire to know about the details of the incident so they can join the family in mourning but the death also sparked another curiosity among fans. Avid fans know very well that Drake appeared several times in the show. However, he is not directly a part of "The Curse of Oak Island" but a worker for the Lagina brothers' quest of treasure hunting.

Fans though are wondering whether his death can fulfill the mysterious curse of the island where it is said that lives need to be sacrificed before the 200-year-old treasure reappears in the land. It was said though that the death should happen during the hunt and that there is only a life left to offer to complete the seven lives sacrifice. A seventh death at the Money was already reported in 2015, but the incident did not happen during the operation hence many claimed that it was not a valid offer. Craig Tester's son might be a similar case but fans still want to see how it will affect "The Curse of Oak Island."

Meanwhile, a recent report claims that Rick and Marty Lagina are looking into reviewing the strategies of the past treasure hunters. The brothers are expected to find clues from the other teams' years of digging at the money pit which they can utilize to finally locate the 200-year-old treasure that is believed to be hidden underneath the island. "The Curse of Oak Island" has not yet been renewed for a fifth season but a lot of fans are still requesting to see more episodes until the Lagina brothers finish their quest.
